Thank you so much! But I cheated a bit as that's the sun. ;)
I set my shutter setting to a very quick fraction of a second(1-4000th) and made the aperture very small. This combined with the sun being partly behind the clouds let me take a picture of it, without over exposing the picture to light. And as the moon was eclipsing the sun that gave the sun the half moon effect. That's why the sky is so dark and the sun with the moon in front looks like a half moon. To think that the moon can blot out a third of the sun and yet with the naked eye you couldn't even tell because it was still so bright! God's creation is so amazing hey! Thanks again for the encouragemnet :)
Pretty good camera work. Thanks for sharing. I write and maintain a blog which I have entitled “Accordingtothebook” and I’d like to invite you to follow it. I’m your newest follower.
